How to enrol

Every child has the right to access quality public education in their local community. If you live in our local intake area, start your journey to join our vibrant school community today. Follow these key steps:

1. Check your eligibility:  use School Finder to confirm if your address is within our local intake area.
2. Read:  other enrolment details for our school.
3. Apply online:  complete our online enrolment application.

Required documents

To enrol your child in our school, please provide:

• child's birth certificate or identity documents

• proof of child's address such as current council rates notice, residential lease or electricity bill.

• immunisation history statement from the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR)

• any family law or other relevant court orders, if applicable.

if your child has health, disability or other support needs you will need to provide additional documents. These may include:

• medical/healthcare or emergency action plan

• evidence of any disability

• learning and support plans.

Little Ripples Kindergarten Transition Program

Join Our Transition to School Program at Warilla Public School!

At Warilla Public School, we are dedicated to making the transition to Primary School a smooth and positive experience for every child. We understand that for children to feel confident and connected from their very first day in Kindergarten, a strong and supportive transition program is essential—not just for students, but for their families too.

We offer an additional Transition to School program called Little Ripples.

Enrolled Kindergarten children at Warilla Public School can participate in Little Ripples - a series of five engaging sessions held in Term 3 - designed to prepare children for school life, alongside our traditional orientation sessions in Term 4.

We invite families to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to build connections, ease the journey into school, and support your child’s successful start at Warilla Public School!
